Her name is Heather Christensen. Since I have never met her, I didn’t how good of a person she was. But the amount of people who attended to her candlelight vigil amazed me. Hundreds of people showed up in different places. Here is more of the story.

In fact the event itself was no more than seeing people crying at a memorial. However, at the same time, 50 feet away from the memorial, there was big birthday party celebration and the music was pretty loud. It was really disturbing the atmosphere where people are remembering the dead of their family members. I just felt that it was a very interesting contrast: celebrating life and remembering the dead all happen at the same time.
